💪RECOVERY IS IMPORTANT
Want your muscles to grow well alot of the magic happens outside of the gym with your nutrition and when your body is recovering from the session so its so important to listen to your body.
I get people asking me “so when does your muscles stop getting sore” 😂 I just laugh it does get easier but then you push it more and oh hello the soreness is back.
So here's some muscle recovery tips :
🥗Refuel - Make sure you are drinking enough water and eating enough protein in your meals throughout the day aim for min 20-30grams of protein per meal.
🚴 Active recovery so keep those legs moving maybe go for a light walk or jump on the bike to help with circulation to promote nutrient and water through the body
😴 Sleep! Do not underestimate the power of a goodnights sleep, this is where our body repairs its tissues and also helps with growth
🧘♀️ Do some light stretching, make use of a Foam Roller and massage ball - yes its painful but it definitely helps with blood flow and circulation, and releases those tight muscles.
💆♀️ Get a massage ( I always go for a sports massage and end up sore days after but once they release the muscles I feel so much better)
💊Supplements can be very helpful but always advise with your doctor before taking sups. I Use Glutamine and Magnesium (I take this everyday)
